Individual Therapy
During your first session, we will discuss family or relationship history, current challenges, and goals for therapy.
Couples Therapy
The assessment for couples therapy consists of four sessions. The first session involves both partners together, followed by individual sessions with each partner, and concluding with a joint session. By the fourth session, you will have a comprehensive understanding of your relationship’s strengths and challenges, enabling you to make an informed decision about whether to continue working on the relationship or to consider dissolution.*
*THESE SESSIONS CAN BE SPREAD OUT OR AS AN INTENSIVE (HALF-DAY SESSION)
Yes, we offer both in-person and virtual sessions to accommodate your needs. Whether you prefer the comfort of meeting face-to-face in our office or the convenience of a secure online session, we’re here to support you in the way that works best for you.
Your privacy is paramount. All sessions are confidential, and I adhere to strict professional guidelines to ensure your information is protected. If sessions are conducted at your workplace or in the comfort of your home, it is your responsibility to ensure privacy. This includes managing security cameras and securing a private location to prevent others from overhearing our discussions.
Our cancellation policy requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled time or miss your appointment, you will be charged the full session fee. In cases of an emergency, please reach out to us as soon as possible to discuss a potential alternative solution
We do not accept insurance; our services are self-pay, allowing us to focus on providing therapy tailored to your unique needs, rather than meeting the limitations and requirements set by insurance companies. This ensures a more personalized and flexible approach to your care.
If you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill—a detailed receipt of services—which you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. However, coverage will depend on your specific insurance plan. If you would like assistance submitting your out-of-network claims, we have partnered with Mentaya, streamlining the reimbursement process.
Mentaya is perfect if you:
- Have out-of-network benefits
- Feel overwhelmed by superbills and insurance
- Have submitted superbills but failed to get any reimbursement
- Or simply want to skip the hassle of paperwork.
Here is how Mentaya works:
- Sign up for Mentaya by clicking https://mentaya.co/inviteclient/theintentionalrelationship
- Our practice will enter your sessions into the platform.
- Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.
- You get reimbursed by insurance! Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies.
- It’s risk-free: They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of their fees.
I understand that life can sometimes feel overwhelming and I am here to help when possible.
